How will I know if my 2 year old is eligible?

You will receive a letter from the council which you take to your childcare provider. This should arrive 2 weeks before the end of the term following your child's 2nd birthday. If you think you are eligible and have not received a letter we can look into this for you.

How much free childcare do I get?

15 hours termtime per week, although this can be adjusted to cover school holidays too giving you approx 12 hours per week.
